Manoel Viera - Rizhome

This project by pianist Manoel Vieira emerges from the meeting of Brazilian roots and the sonic “sphere” of Thelonious Monk, two influences that have shaped his musical journey.

The concert unfolds as a journey through their respective matrices and cultural origins, distinct yet capable of merging through a process of hybridization.
