Double bassist, singer, composer, and arranger, Blanche Baillargeon is a versatile artist who has been active on the music scene for nearly 20 years. She has received numerous awards and grants, and has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Christine Tassan et les Imposteures, Clémence Desrochers, DJ Champion, Paule Baillargeon, and Misses Satchmo.
With hundreds of performances and around fifteen studio recordings to her credit, she has built a rich and diverse career. The release of her debut album in May 2015 marked a defining moment, affirming her unique voice as a creator. Paysages du jour tranquille introduced a fresh artistic signature and was warmly received by both critics and audiences alike.
She is currently working on her next opus, Le Nid, scheduled for release in spring 2022.
